Rawal Dam is about 23 kms from Islamabad and if you are in Islamabad then you must visit Rawal Dam located opposite Islamabad Club. Rawal lake is an artificial resevoir & one of the Islamabad-Rwalpindi’s sources of water.
The area around the lake has been planted with flowering trees and laid out with gardens, picnic and angling spots. The lake covers an area of 8.8 sq.km. People can enjoy fishing as well as boating.
